The SparkU internship is for a hard-working and driven young adult who wants to gain valuable experience in the wedding industry, helping behind the scenes while developing their skills and talents. We are currently seeking a Young Adult (20-25) who is passionate about making a step into the wedding industry but may not have full-time work experience.
Overview:
This person loves helping behind the scenes. They are always walking around with a planner, and are found organizing everything they see. They like details and know that more information means they won't miss out on anything important. They have a desire to help couples plan their wedding day and want to serve those around them.
• Internship is 3 months long
• Internship is part-time (10 hours week)
• Intern will receive a $500 stipend
What you’ll do:
• Field and answer emails on behalf of the company
• Schedule couple consultations as needed
• Field incoming phone calls
• Manage and develop content for social media channels
• Organize and maintain client information on CRM tool and excel spreadsheets
• Send emails through CRM to maintain communication with couples
What we’re looking for:
• Passion for serving couples on one of their most important days
• Understanding of google suite (Sheets, Docs, Drive)
• Empathetic, and friendly communicator who liked details
• Desire to learn more about the "behind the scenes" of a wedding business
• Loves to organize everything in sight (your closest is organized by seasons, color, style)
• Thrives where there is structure
• Familiarity with Spark core values
